Chaplain Services
Grief And Loss Support
I specialize in guiding individuals and groups through the process of grieving and mourning. Whether you're navigating the death of a loved one, a major life transition, or a loss that feels hard to name, you don’t have to walk this path alone.
I can support you with:
Grief and Loss Group Facilitation
1:1 Spiritual Companionship
End-of-Life Comfort, Planning & Guidance
Guided Somatic Wellness Sessions
Mediation and Group Facilitation
Mediation for Difficult Dialogues
When communication breaks down, I serve as a neutral, caring mediator to help bridge divides. Whether it's a family conflict, team tension, or a complex emotional issue, I support all parties in finding clarity and common ground.
My specialty is guiding groups, teams, and families through compassionate conversations that foster understanding, healing, and connection. Whether you're navigating a conflict, facing a sensitive issue, or simply seeking deeper dialogue, I provide a calm and grounded presence to help you move forward together or apart.
Facilitated Conversations
I create safe and respectful spaces where all voices can be heard. These guided sessions are designed to build empathy, restore trust, and help participants feel seen and understood.
Personalized Ceremony & Ritual for Life’s Thresholds
Life brings moments that ask us to pause, reflect, grieve, celebrate, or begin again. These moments—whether joyful, painful, or complex—deserve to be honored. I officiate personalized ceremonies and curate rituals that help individuals, families, and communities mark these thresholds with meaning and care.
Ceremony with Purpose
I believe that ceremony is not just tradition—it’s a powerful, healing way to hold the depth of human experience. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, loss, reconciliation, or a new beginning, I work with you to create something meaningful and unique.
Our Process
We listen deeply to your story and your needs. Together, we co-create ceremony and ritual that reflect your values, culture, and spirit. Each experience is designed to facilitate:
Acknowledgment of what has changed or needs to be honored
Release of what no longer serves or holds pain
Healing through connection, presence, and meaning-making
Types of Ceremonies We Offer
Grief and loss rituals
End-of-life blessings
Divorce or separation ceremonies
Reconciliation and forgiveness rituals
Milestone transition rituals (career changes, retirement, coming of age)
Wherever you are in the world, I bring heart, presence, and spiritual care to the places where life asks you to stop and tend to your soul.

Meet Chaplain Maude
I’m Maude—a ritualist, grief group facilitator, end-of-life doula, and somatic healer. My life’s work is to hold safe and sacred space for people moving through life’s most tender, complex, and transformative moments. Whether in the stillness of a grief ritual, the tension of a family conversation, or the sacred hush of an end-of-life blessing, I offer presence, compassion, and deep listening.
Rooted in the wisdom of my African American ancestors, I follow a calling to tend to what’s broken, unspoken, or in need of healing. That ancestral wisdom guides me—spiritually and practically—as I walk with others through grief, transition, reconciliation, and renewal.
I hold a master’s degree in religious studies and have been trained in clinical pastoral care. My approach is shaped not only by my education, but by a lifelong commitment to learning, traveling, creating, and seeking the sacred in everyday life.
Whether I’m facilitating a ceremony halfway around the world or sitting quietly with someone in mourning, I’m here to witness your truth, honor your story, and walk with you toward wholeness.
